Self Devouring Brain

An exhibition of artworks by Professor Roland Littlewood (1947–2025) at the Royal College of Psychiatrists. This is the first exhibition ever held of his work, and focuses on his paintings and works on paper in the 1970s, when he graduated from medical school at Bart's, worked on psychiatric inpatient wards at Hackney Hospital, then studied in Oxford's Department of Anthropology.

The exhibition is open by appointment on selected dates in November 2026 - please let me know if you would like to visit.

A text to accompany the exhibition is available here.
A map of the exhibition is available here.
